IYO® International Yoga Organisation is a registration and certifying body for IYT® International Yoga Teachers and IYS® International Yoga Schools across the globe.
Phase 1: Education & Training

1. Choose Your IYT Level: Identify the training level that suits your goals. Options include IYT® 100hrs, 200hrs, 500hrs, or other specialty certifications.

2. Enroll at an IYO-Certified School (IYS): Once you’ve picked a level, you must find and enroll in an accredited institution (an International Yoga School) to receive your training.

3. Complete Training Hours & Curriculum: This is the "work" phase. You must fulfill all the required classroom hours and complete the specific coursework required for your chosen level.

4. Pass the Required Exam / Assessment: To prove your competency, you must successfully complete a final evaluation or examination.
Phase 2: Application & Verification

5. Apply Online for Registration: After passing your exams, you head to the official website to fill out your registration application.

6. Submit Credentials & Pay Fee: You will need to upload your documentation (proof of training) and pay the necessary registration fee to process your status.
Phase 3: Certification & Recognition

7. Receive Official IYT Certificate: Once your application is approved, you are issued an official International Yoga Teacher (IYT) certificate from the IYO.

8. Get Listed in IYT Global Directory: The final step is visibility. Your name is added to the worldwide teacher database, allowing students and employers across the globe to find and verify your credentials.
